I’m completely new to the stock market and trading, is this the right course for absolute beginners?

The next live-streamed course is February 19th and 20th. The course runs from 9am to 5pm each day.

How much time will I need to invest in learning to trade before I can realistically start trading?
Most of our students start trading after completing the intensive two-day course. When traders are starting out, they tend to spend more time researching and executing trades. This quickly turns into just over 30 minutes a day, providing students do the work to understand the Theta Trading strategy.
What is the minimum amount of funds I need to have to invest in options trading?
As Omar always reminds investors – “don’t focus on the funds, focus on the knowledge”. Once you know how to build your wealth through options, you will be able to direct more funds to trading. To begin, you are investing in valuable knowledge. You can start with a few thousand dollars and work your way up to live trading. We encourage students to practice using paper money and go over how this works in the course.

What is the schedule for the course?
Our course takes place all day Saturday and Sunday, from 9:30AM EST to 5PM both days.
Who teaches the course?
Introductory course is taught by Omar Khan and Matthew Todman. Both our co-founders have a combined 40+ years of experience in the options trading world and are excited to teach others how to obtain financial freedom.
Will any of the apps you use for trading be covered during the course?
We will discuss the app we use for trading. You can use any provider you choose to wish, but we use an app by the name of Interactive Brokers (IBKR) which will be discussed and covered by the Theta team. All topics from the set up to the functionality of the different features will be explained.
Is this course designed for everyone?
Yes! This course is designed for Canadians, Americans and people living anywhere in the world with access to the internet and a smartphone. We have taught students from Canada, USA, The Caribbean, Pakistan, Egypt and more.
Is any preparation needed before the course?
No, the Theta trading team will walk through and explain all the necessary concepts.

Theta’s weekly coaching call program can be found HERE and is a service offered by Theta that allows students to ask questions while the Theta team analyses topics such as news about equities, economic indicators and much more. We have outlined our coaching call topics in our calendar section.
When will I start receiving Theta’s daily newsletter and morning tracker?
Right after you sign-up, you will begin receiving the research newsletters the next day. Our students can expect the morning tracker at approximately 8:30AM EST and the newsletter report at 1PM ET which includes that latest equity and economic developments

No, all the programs and technology are very user-friendly. Theta trading students can expect support from the Theta team and Theta Trading community to answer any questions they may have.
If I invest the minimum, how much can I expect to make?
It depends on your risk tolerance and strategy execution. But for example, Omar and Matthew aim to generate option premium income of approximately 3% or more per month.
How do I access these recordings?
You will be able to find them in the learning portal. You receive login access to when you sign up. Similar to Netflix, you can log in and view the content on your own time and pace.
Are there any additional resources to learn about options trading?
Yes, we have a YouTube account with free content to start your learning which you can access by clicking here. We also have a FREE webinar to go over the principles of the strategy, which you can access by clicking here.
When should I sign up?
